Cambridge Muslim Academy
About Us
On the 1st May 2014, the Young Muslim Academy was founded by three ladies who wanted to give something back to the Muslim community. That something is a joyful journey in Islam. They wanted to create a space where all Muslim children could learn and increase in love for Islam in a positive and happy way. The Academy began in one class room with six girls and one teacher.
Alhamdulillah, with the assistance of many sincere helpers over the years, the Academy has expanded, developed and gone from strength to strength. We have added classes at different levels, developed our learning offering and arranged community events, such as Academy iftars and charitable projects in Ramadan. In 2021 we added another exciting two new aspects to our Academy, which are classes and courses for Ladies and Youths.
With this new development came a change in name from the Young Muslim Academy to the Cambridge Muslim Academy, to reflect our new range of students. We currently have around 90 pupils and 50 adult students, 15 teachers, 6 teaching assistants and a head teacher. We constantly work hard to continually develop and improve our Academy in every aspect.
